Zong Pakistan has started a scholarship program in the field of Computer Sciences, Engineering and Sciences for higher studies namely “ZONG Scholarship Program for UET” after having a MoU with University of Engineering and Technology (UET). This scholarship will fund students in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Sciences & Engineering to the University for the academic year starting in year 2009. This Scholarship will cover all educational expenses like registration fees, tuition, laboratory fees, internship fees, study materials, accommodation costs, and other relevant expenses.
Lt. Gen (Retd) Muhammad Akram Khan, Vice Chancellor, UET appreciated the initiative taken by ZONG for the support of higher education in Pakistan.
“We are excited about this Scholarship Program of ZONG, a company which we regard very highly, as it has consistently been supporting youth by introducing different programs. We are confident that this partnership will truly benefit the deserving students, as it offers tremendous convenience and benefits to the students.â€
The advisory body for this scholarship will be comprised of representative both from UET and Zong.

Dear Br. Razik the Zong scholarship is for Punjab only (UET) not for Larkana Sindh. Zong earns money from Karachi but opt not to give scholarship to them.
