Telenor Pakistan going to buy more than 60 percent of stakes in Warid

Telenor is going to buy 63% share of Warid Telecom Pakistan. The agreement is signed in Abu Dhabi. The Dhabi group with still own the 7% of the share while the remaining 30% of shares are owned by Singtel (Singapore Telecom). However PakPoint have yet not been able to get any confirmation of this deal from the local resources of telnore and warid in Pakistan as they termd these as speculations and rumours. The whole deal have been finalized in Abu Dhabi. In addition to telenor singtel have also shown its intrest to buy the all remaing 70% part of the shares. We are still on this story and as soon as more information avilable from the local resources it will be updated.
