To locate your friends with SMS

1. Just write “Find <0321XXXXXXX> and sms to 141 e.g if your friend have number 0321-1122222 you will send sms like this “Find 03211122222″ to 141

2. User-B will receive an SMS requesting to permit or deny User-A’s request

3. User-A will receive User-B’s response to request

4. User-A will then get location of User-B through SMS if approved otherwise a denial message will be sent

How do I locate a friend through MMS?

To Locate a Friend via MMS:

1. 1. User-A sends SMS to 141 by writing FINDMMS e.g
“Find032XXXXXXXX>

2. User-B will receive an SMS requesting to permit or deny User-A request

3. User-A will receive User-B’s response to request

4. User-A will get location of User-B through MMS* if approved or a denial message if not

PU Pharm.D exam from May 12

University of the Punjab Examinations Department has issued the date sheet of written exam of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), Second Professional, 2nd Annual Examination 2007.

According to the schedule, the exam will commence from August 7 and will conclude on August 21, 2008.

SFCC recommendations on PTCL employees’ issue ready

ISLAMABAD: Special Federal Cabinet Committee (SFCC) has formulated its recommendations on PTCL employees’ issue.

Federal ministers Syed Khurshid Shah, Syed Naveed Qamar, Qamar Zaman Kaira, interior secretary, Kamal Shah, high officials of Islamabad police, administration and Rangers attended the meeting held here.

Following the meeting, In-charge Minister Communications, Qamar Zaman Kaira told the media that the cabinet committee has prepared the recommendations relating to PTCL employees. PTCL management was mulling over the employees’ issues and the reasons behind the dispute between workers and management was being reviewed, he added. Responding to a question, he said that Rangers’ mishandling was not intentional. He said that the Govt. still owns 79 percent shares in PTCL and therefore, we have reservations.

1. Be a better listener.

Nothing is more appealing than having someone listening to you intently and making you feel like you’re the only person in the world.

2. Read More and Expand Your Interests.
The more you read and interests you have, the more interesting you are to others. It also gives you the opportunity to meet people and share or exchange your views with them.

3. Be a good conversationalist.
This relates to how much you read and know. Once you have much to contribute, learn how to talk about it with others. We can’t know everything, so it’s refreshing to learn about things we don’t have time to read about from others. If you’re shy join a group like Toastmasters that encourages you to talk about what you know.

4. Have an Opinion.
There’s nothing more tiresome than trying to talk to someone who has no opinion on anything. A conversation has nowhere to go if you have nothing to expound on. When you have a differing opinion, it makes you that much more interesting and stimulating to be around (unless you’re a know-it-all, of course). A unique outlook expands everyone’s perspective.

5. Meet New People.
Make the effort to meet new people especially those different from you. It not only exposes you to different cultures and alternate ways of doing things, it broadens your horizons.

6. Be yourself.
The next most tiresome thing after having no opinions is to try and be something you’re not. Trying to mold yourself to fit in and be accepted usually backfires. Everyone is unique and expressing that uniqueness is what makes us interesting. If we try to be a carbon copy of someone else, the lack of genuineness comes across.

7. Have a positive outlook and attitude.
No one wants to be around people who are negative, complain a lot, or have nothing good to say. In fact most of us run when we see them coming. Be the kind of upbeat person that lights up a room with your energy. You can do this by looking for the best in people and things.

8. Be fun and see the humorous side of life.
We all like to be around someone who makes us laugh or smile. Look for the humorous or quirky side in situations. There always is one. When you are fun and lighthearted people are naturally attracted to you.

9. Be supportive of others.
This is probably the most endearing quality you can integrate into your personality. Just as you welcome it when you receive it, be the support for others when they need it. Everyone wants a cheerleader, someone who encourages and believes in them, in their corner.

10. Have Integrity and treat people with respect.
Be honest and true to your word and you will have the admiration and respect of others. Respect others and you will have their attention and gratitude. Nothing improves a person’s personality more than integrity and respect - respect for others as well as respect for yourself.

Arrest warrants for Pervaiz, Fazl, others

LAHORE - A district court hearing a Qazf case on Wednesday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for eleven persons including former chief minister Punjab Ch Pervaiz Elahi, former chief secretary Punjab Salman Siddiqui, JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and PPP Information Secretary Punjab Farzana Raja.
The other persons included: former additional secretary Haji Nawaz Khokhar, former MPA Saba Sadiq, former secretary health Javed Malik, former SSP Operations Lahore Amir Zulfiqar and Prof Mumtaz Hussain of King Edward College. Read more
