Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry taking a suo motu notice of Geo News’ footage of whipping of a 17 year old girl, ordered the Interior Secretary to bring the girl along with him to the court.
Taking suo motu notice in the interest of the people, Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry formed an eight-member larger bench to invistigate the issue on April 6. The bench will be headed by Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry himself.

Unfortunately we are in a state of denial.
We should act immediately as a nation to condemn this crime and other terrorist acts at all levels. Those who are still reluctant to condemn terrorism should be confronted. All citizens in rural or urban areas keep an eye on any unusual things happen in their neighborhood. Today’s Islamabd blast and God forbid more like this, which I can see soon, might have happened to divert the attention from this video and Manawa arrest. I request all citizens to be vigilant and govt. officials to form special task force and immediately deploy their best intelligence and security to all important targets, coz these criminals would like to divert the attention from above said incidents. Plz. Heads up guys…….
I agree with Syed Hussain. We are in a state of denial and it is time we snapped out of it. Condemning taliban does not mean condemning ones religion. Taliban are mentally sick- and should be dealt in the most ruthless way.
