This guy who claims to be a doctor through his program spreads hatred, frustration and tension in the country. In each of his program he claims a dooms day scenario and speculating that some concocted end game has started. He spreads rumors and invites frustrated lot like him who also join his chorus. He is an opportunist and tried to take full advantage from the government but couldn;t survive there as he put his foot on the tails of big wigs and was forced out. He is a copy cat and copies language, sentences from books of various authors without acknowledgeing them. His invitees are also joining his chorus as they are getting cheap publicity. Gradually, he is becoming a joke. Watch Najam Sethi’s analysis instead you will get a realistic and blanced view.

Asad Saab, its not fair to comment like this on Dr Shahid.He is the real pakistani who shows us the dirty faces of pak politics.
I have noticed that he talk more about PPP,not so about Nawaz and MQM plus quite about the dirty faces of religious politicians who are the real problems.

Dr. Gul, thanks for your comments but, believe me, each time I watch his program and the way he probes his invitees, there seems to be a style of pulling out a dooms day scenario. As if, the country is going to collapse or something would happen. Even in this program I see he is probing and insisting the guests to say that the government would collapse. I am expressing this view being neutral and not showing my inclination to any party. Pakistan cannot take this negativity and sour publicity that all these news anchor are causing. Most of the time the stories are based on heresay, concoction and mirage. Their objective is to make the programs popular, earn advertising money and gain cheap popularity. They will claim one story and then backout from it. Tell me, who among the politicians is innocent. There is this tainted and malicous past behind each one of them. If there is scandel of Swiss cotecna or surrey palace against one guy then there is cooperative scandel, attack on supreme court and what not against the other stalwart. These are the gifts of democracy. See where the country is plunging and see the level of crisis of confidence. Every one is there to make a quick buck. Media can play the postive role in many aspects as they did by displaying that video clip of ATM machine a few days ago and after that, the killer of the officer of Navy officer was apprehended. That story was based on reality and the video clip gave the truth. Any how, sorry, if I have hurt your feelings about this gentleman but I will advise, next time when you watch his or for that matter other major anchor’s program, just see how they create scare and dooms day scenario. I will also suggest about an interesting observation. After the lal masjid incidence took place all the media started condeming Musharraf’s govt about its atrocities and killing of Namazis in that mosque cold bloodedly. But just go to you tube and watch the video clips of all the ancors including Hamid Mir for the pre Lal Masjid operation date and you will see they were inticing the government by saying “Agar app terrorism hatana chahtay hain to en logon par military operation kiyon nahi kartey and forcing the govt to take action but just after the incidence chan they same gang started accusing it.
