President of Supreme Court Bar Association Ali Ahmed Kurd on Sunday appealed to the lawyers’ community to boycott courts’ proceedings on April 13 against the brutal killing of three Baloch nationalist leaders in Turbat.
Talking to Geo News, Kurd said that nationalist leaders were playing a crucial role in the country’s politics particularly in Balochistan.
“The routine life has paralysed and situation is very tense in Balochistan following the assassination of Baloch leaders,” he said.
Under these circumstances, SCBA appealed to the lawyers across the country to show solidarity with Baloch people by observing complete boycott of the courts’ proceedings tomorrow.
Reacting on the SCBA call, Islamabad High Court (IHC) announced to observe complete boycott on Monday.
