How to Revoke Access to Twitter Applications?

One may get crazy with thousands of of Twitter API applications and third party software and some time knowing or without knowing may grant twitter account access to many of these. Some of these applications later on may mess up with your twitter account time line. Especially there are many spam applications which claim to get you many followers. In fact these these applications later use your account information and time line to spread their own messages. How to block twitter external applications.
1. Some applications store your user name and password in their own database and use these from time to time to access your account and time line. So the best thing is to change your password immediate.

2. For those applications which you have granted permanent access use the fowllowing steps below to revoke their access.

1. Log in to your twitter account.
2. Co to Settings Tab
3. Now further go to Connection Tab
4. Here you will find the list of applications you have granted access.
5. Now revoke the access to the applications you do not want.
