Have you ever deleted or remove the application folder from your dock? And now looking for ways how to restore it back to the dock. Well for  this purpose you can not actually drag it from the left menu bar.

1. Click on the Macintosh hard drive now  here inside you will find a folder labelled as applications click  on it  and drag it down to the dock.

2. Sometime you may find your  are unable to restore the default icon for  this folder. This is again a something that can be easily adjusted.  Right Click on the icon folder  where you can find the option labelled as  “display as” end  then select folder.
