Search data  from ComScore tells that  Google leads the US Search market with 64%, while Yahoo has 20% and Microsoft trails in third with an 8% share. If loot at these statistics worldwide, the figures are even worse. An analysis from Net Applications suggests that Microsoft currently has just 3% of the global market, trailing Yahoo’s 9.6% and Google’s commanding 81%.

According to Microsoft, Bing, while providing a good general search experience, wants to focus on providing an especially good user experience in four verticals: making a purchase decision, planning a trip, researching a health condition, and finding a local business.s to search engines.

Even Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak told a reporter that Microsoft’s new Bing search engine looks "astounding" and that he’s "a big fan, now."
