Google It, Bing It or Bin IT
The computer giant Microsoft once again is jumping into the Internet Search Market with a new concept (decision engine ) and a new trade mark Bing. Formerly this concept is based on Kumo. Bing will become available worldwide by June 3,
Search data from ComScore tells that Google leads the US Search market with 64%, while Yahoo has 20% and Microsoft trails in third with an 8% share. If loot at these statistics worldwide, the figures are even worse. An analysis from Net Applications suggests that Microsoft currently has just 3% of the global market, trailing Yahoo’s 9.6% and Google’s commanding 81%.
After losing the initiative to internet rivals who have built enormous businesses out of web search, Microsoft has spent the past few years retooling in an attempt to push itself forwards.
On Thursday Microsoft unveiled Bing,. They’re hoping that before long you’ll forget how to "Google it" and will instead "Bing it."
So for a common internet user it will become Google It, Bing It and if this all does not work just Bin It.
According to Microsoft, Bing, while providing a good general search experience, wants to focus on providing an especially good user experience in four verticals: making a purchase decision, planning a trip, researching a health condition, and finding a local business.s to search engines.
Even Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak told a reporter that Microsoft’s new Bing search engine looks "astounding" and that he’s "a big fan, now."
