11 10 2009 91130 l  CNG stations go on strike protesting load management PakPoint.comLAHORE: Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations will be shut down from tonight 12:00 AM protesting government’s decision to keep stations closed twice a week under gas load-management program.

All Pakistan CNG Association President Ghayas Paracha told Geo News that protest program will be implemented gradually.

He said that in the first stage of protest all CNG stations from Attock to Jhelum besides stations in Rawalpindi and Islamabad will be closed from November 10th 12:00 AM.

‘All CNG stations will remain closed in Lahore and Sargodha on November 12th, whereas stations in Multan and Bahawalpur will go on strike on November 13th.’

All CNG stations in NWFP and Punjab will go on indefinite strike if demands are not met, Paracha warned.
