Mobilink Pakistan has introduced mobilinik infinity (a wimax broadband) service in Karachi today. Mobilink had signed an agreement with motorolla earlier in December 2007 to deliver the design, equipment, and support services of an 802.16e-2005 WiMAX network in Pakistan. Motorola will also supply customer premises equipment (CPE) units.
Mobilink is 2nd to Wateen Telecom which had already announced a WiMax Services in Pakistan

am using MOBILINK WIMAX from almost a month the service is EXCELLENT i am getting downloading rate of almost 125KBPS which is fantastic……. i am really happy that there is no downloading limit.
and as far as wateen is concern i have used wateen almost 6 months in starting it was good but from now on it is dumb.
and the bandwidth which they are giving is to low only 15GB
they must revised there packages else mobilink will hack all the users because service is excellent.

Yes, I did see its demo, It was working good at wireless gate Malir Halt. I felt its service, therefor I have decided to have it. But, looking for discount. Wateen is 3rd class wimax service, which only knows how to collect money from customers.
They dont have any after sales service.
even if you will returned device due to bad service thay will not refund your money before 4 months after deduction many unjustify charges.
