Walid Irshaid  Breaking News: Walid Irshaid to Become Group CEO of PTCL and Ufone PakPoint.com Walid Irshad is going to take the responsibilities as a Group CEO for both Ufone and PTCL.  He is the current president and CEO of PTCL. This news is disclosed shortly after Mr. Saoud Abdulaziz Bin Hadef Al Shamsi’s appointment as Deputy CEO, Ufone, who is directly reporting to Mr. Abdul Aziz, President & CEO.

As soon as Mr. Walid Irshaid join his office as a Group CEO Mr. Mr. Abdul Aziz will be working under his leadership. Some of the Ufone’s internal sources are yet not aware of these recent high level developments.  Etisalat is reportedly directly responsible for the current move, and it is carried out to control Ufone in better way, while keeping Pakistani management out of the way. Being headed by one CEO, both Ufone and PTCL are going to witness no other collaboration/unification in all other departments.
