ISLAMABAD: The new Unified Pay Scales (UPS) introduced recently by the PTCL management, envisages better remuneration package to its employees with the ultimate objective of raising their morale to term them into more efficient and effective work force. Through this package the employees are at the gaining end. They have nothing to loose. On one hand they shall receive a substantial raise in their salaries and on the other all of their service rights shall remain protected as per the PTCL S
By opting for this package, the regular employees shall remain regular continue to enjoy the dual benefits in terms of increase pay package coupled with inalienable rights of protection and the competitive pension. However in all its fairne;s the Management has not mandated it compulsory for its regular employees. They have the option to either opt this new scheme or they can still continue with the old structure.
In this regard to explain the details of the scheme, the PTCL Management has devised a comprehensive communication strategy. As part of it, this is planned to conduct a series of road shows starting form July 16, through out Pakistan to help employees understand the scheme from a high level Management team.
The schedule of road shows, to be held in various cities of the country is given below. 16 July 2008, PTCL Headquarters Islamabad, 17 July, Business Zone Peshawar, July 18, Lahore Telecom College Lahore, and 19 July Business Zone Karachi.
