PTA revised the Draft “Telecom Consumers Protection Regulations, 2008″

The Authority initiated consultation on draft “Telecom Consumers Protection Regulations, 2008″ in March 2008. In this respect, valuable feedback was received from a number of operators, telecom users and consumers organizations, which is highly appreciable.

Based on this feedback and the Authority’s own findings, the draft regulations have been revised. The revised draft of subject regulations are placed at PTA website (www.pta.gov.pk) for final consultation.

You are requested to send your comments, preferably through e-mail, to this office at your earliest convenience but not later than 28th July 2008, so that subject regulations can be finalized and notified at an early date.
