Terrorists, extremists won’t be allowed to use Pak land: Musharraf
RAWALPINDI: President Pervez Musharraf has said that the terrorists and extremists would not be allowed to use Pakistan land.
In a meeting with the US Senators here, President Pervez Musharraf told this. The president said that peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan was in the interest of Pakistan. He said that all the movements at the borders are being watchfully monitored. He said that all options including the talks with the tribal leaders were being adopted for the eradication of terrorism.
President Musharraf expressed his concerns with the US Senators over Mohmand Agency incident. US Senators said that they support long lasting and durable ties with Pakistan and urged for taking war against terrorism’s stakeholders into confidence on matters relating to peace agreements. US Senators, terming the Mohamand Agency incident tragic, said that every possible effort should be made to refrain from such mishaps in future.

BARA: Khyber Agency operation continues, while FC fresh contingents in 20 vehicles arrived here. The Taliban have announced to suspend peace talks with the government.
Security forces have re-occupied Shalobar and Akakhel area in Tehsil Bara, while the fighting continues for obtaining control of other areas. Sources said that following taking full control of the Shalobar and Akakhel areas in Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency, security forces have destroyed all the key-points and private jails of Tanzeem Lashkar-e-Islam. Security forces widening the area of its operation have started moving forward towards Tehsil Bara and other places.
In the wake of security forces moving forward several kilometers ahead of Bara Bazar, curfew in Bara Bazar has been relaxed unannounced. Local people were seen going to Peshawar through Bara Bazar road.
Security has also been tightened at Landi Kotal and Jamrud, the other two Tehsils of Khyber Agency in view of Army operation at Bara. Security has also been upped at Pak-Afghan border Torkham.

Four F-16s joins Pakistan Air Force

ISLAMABAD: A simple but impressive ceremony for handing over of four, F-16 aircraft to Pakistan Air Force was held at PAF Base Mushaf, Sargodha on Saturday. Air Marshal Rao Qamar Suleman, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Operations), Pakistan Air Force received the Fighting Falcons from Lt Gen Gary L. North, Commander 9th Air Force and USAF Central Command. Four aircraft have already arrived in Pakistan.
The batch of aircraft which arrived today have the same operational capability as of the already possessed F-16 aircraft by the PAF and will significantly augment its combat capability in defending the aerial frontiers of Pakistan.
The last batch of remaining four F-16 aircraft would be handed over to PAF on July 28, 2008. A contingent of high-ranking officials from Air Forces of Pakistan and United States were also present on the occasion.

ZONG UNLIMITED SMS SCAM

There are reports that ZONG is deceiving the people by offering UNLIMITED SMS by paying Rs. 3 per day charges but infact the actual deduction is more than that.
Here is a an example case of 03143047059 where the whole balance was finished after sending SMS although this number was subsribed to the Unlimited SMS Package
