64 views“ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousuf Reza Gillani Friday stated in unequivocal terms that no one has the power to dissolve the country’s assemblies.
Talking to senior journalists and columnists here, the Prime Minister said all the issues including judges restoration and President’s impeachment will be resolved in the Parliament.
He said unlike previous governments, the purpose of his scheduled visit to the US is not to strike any kind of deal. All the decisions will be made for the greater interest of the country, he added.
The Premier said important issues including the scourge of terrorism will come under discussion during meeting with the US leaders.
Replying a question regarding US and Saudi aid, he said the good news will be shared with the people as soon as the country receives it.”

Bilawal House security officer shot dead in Karachi
KARACHI: Security officer of Bilawal House Karachi Khalid Shahanshah has been killed in a firing incident here on Tuesday.
Spokesman of Bilawal House Ijjaz Durrani has confirmed the reports of Khalid Shahanshah’s demise.
Earlier, Khalid Shanshah sustained severe bullet wounds when unknown persons opened fire on him in Defence area. He was shifted to ZIauddin Hospital where he sccumbed to injuries.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Bar Council has announced August 14 as deadline for the government to reinstate the deposed judges.
“A civil disobedience movement will be launched from August 15 if the government fails to reinstate the judges,” they announced.
US-brokered deal between President Mush and Zardari : Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan has exposed that US-brokered deal between Musharraf, Zardari which basically reversed the wish of the people.
In an interview with the BBC he said the mandate was that the people wanted the judges back, who were unconstitutionally removed by Musharraf and they wanted Musharraf out and all subsequent polls have confirmed this. But, he said, according to the deal Musharraf was supported to say and in return Asif Zardari’s corruption cases worth billions of dollars were to given amnesty.
He said there has been a reversal of people’s mandate, adding in other words Musharraf is staying and the judges are not being allowed to take their constitutional position.
He said people expected something to come out of the February 18 elections, in other words a road map towards reinstatement but this show of force, the spontaneous response of the people was unprecedented.
He said that there is temporary glitch in this revolution but eventually Asif Zardari himself will be swept away if he does not conform what the people want and what his party wants. He said there is a lot of pressure from within his party now. There is already a forward bloc about to come out in the open led by was Amin Makhdoom Fahim.

Today in news papers a strange news has appeared with reference to the PM Gillani that he fears that 9/11 can be repeated. Well 9/11 was really a sad event and in any case such incident should not be repeated in any part of the world. The statement by PM indicate that he may have some reports from his sources about any such possible event well if this is true then they should stop such thing otherwise he should be responsible enough before making any such statements.
